Dr Abiodun Osiyemi

BSc, MBBS, MSc (Distinction), MBA, FIBMS (London)

Dr Osiyemi is a Medical doctor, Health Insurance expert, Business Management consultant and Fellow, Institute of Biomedical Science London (Immunology).

Dr Osiyemi is a graduate of the University of Lagos business school (MBA program) and also an alumnus of the FATE foundation entrepreneurship program (EEP2)

He has written many papers on Health care financing and runs a certification program on "Operating a profitable HMO". Dr Osiyemi has been involved with establishing three Health Maintenance Organizations and worked in the past, as the first General Manager, Total HealthTrust (HMO) and Managing Partner, Oxford Health Consultants Lagos. He is currently an executive management staff with UBA Insurance / HEIRS Medicare services Limited in Lagos, Nigeria

In the past, he worked with the prestigious British Medical Research Council and was a member of the first team of scientist in the world to carry out studies on Immune responses of HIV-2 patients to anti-chemotherapy drugs (AZT and 3TC)

Dr Osiyemi’s PhD (Management) thesis is on Leadership and Corporate Governance

In 2003, Dr Osiyemi was nominated into Who’s Who in Nigeria.
